2493 Turning Right: The Making of the Rehnquist Supreme Court, by David G. Savage (read 21 Feb 1993) This is a journalistic book on the Supreme Court from 1986 to 1991 by a Los Angeles Times reporter. The reporter is harder on the Supreme Court conservatives than I would be (then), but it is not too biased. The author is not a lawyer.so the book is not too insightful, but as a knowledgeable layman's review of the Court's five years it was well worth reading.
