What an awesome children's fantasy series! This installment covers wonderous fantasy beings including black, red, white, and eastern dragons, cyclopes, ettins, mountain giants, ogres, and also cave, forest and swamp trolls. Each has its own description along with size, diet, lifespan and home.

This is such a great series to introduce children to all the different fantasy beings in the fantasy realm. We enjoyed all four books in the series and the illustrations are beautiful. The quiz at the end will test your reading comprehension skills!

We recently picked up all four books in this series and loved them all. This installment in the series covers some of the nasty fantasy creatures including black orcs, boggarts, goblins, gremlins, hags, hobgoblins, nixies, orcs, pixies, sirens, and troglodytes. Each has its own description along with size, diet, lifespan and home.

This is such a great series to introduce children to all the different fantasy beings in the fantasy realm. We enjoyed all four books in the series and the illustrations are beautiful. The only thing I would've liked is a pronunciation for the names. We enjoyed the quiz at the end!
