Sarah Saraband

This is a story, illustrated with line drawings, about a rich man with aggressively lustful tastes who wishes to marry, then debauch, an innocent young woman who is mostly attracted to him because of his wealth. His bargain with her includes having her worldly-wise similarly attractive mother live with them and provide him with all of the less usual marital services that his wife shies away from. His business has been built on providing such services to his customers, and his wife quickly finds that she is expected to accommodate his wish to please them. The book provides detailed, blow-by-blow accounts of these activities, in a way that makes its highly erotic illustrations largely superfluous. There is a twist at the end, but this hardly rescues the writing from the excesses of pulp fiction. It is crude and not very imaginative, and will appeal to those in search of rough sex.… (más)
