Of course, the standard Dutch baby should, and is, there; this is actually my favorite thing to make in a cast iron skillet. You can make them savory or sweet (there are both types here) and they are delicious no matter which one you choose.
There are also enticing dishes such as Biscuit-Topped Chicken Pot Pie, Bacon-Wrapped Scallops, Shrimp and Scallop Scampi, and even Irish soda bread, Blueberry Scones, and Apple Crisp. All sound delicious, and those I've made have turned out beautifully.
While the recipes are mostly far from traditional, they are, in my opinion, worth it to take the time to make them. From small families to large, there is something here for everyone. Highly recommended.… (más)
