Rose Anne St. Romain

A woman and her children are struggling to find shelter from a horrible flood. The woman and children finally find a cyprus tree for shelter, but the woman is now afraid the children will freeze to death. She tells the moon her fears, and awakens the next day to find that the moon wove a blanket of clouds for the family. The ending shows that the blanket is now what we call Spanish moss today.

A very good book, I like the detail pictures that Waites has with the storyline. I believe this a great storyline and I would buy it for my own collection
