A little girl and her mother always pass the pet shop and the little girl says she wants a pet and her mother's response is always "we'll see." The little girl then does just that. Everything she sees, she imagines is her pet. Some of the objects she pretends to be pets are a napkin and a balloon. Her mother then surprises her with a pet kitten and she becomes very excited.

The little girl wants a pet, but her mother says "We'll see". So the girl tries a rock that she names Fluffy as a pet. Next a glove, a candy wrapper, and a balloon are pets. With imagination anything can be a pet. But what will be the best pet of all?
