If you are interested in politics or just want to know what is wrong with America then this book is a must read. I would normally give the book a lower rating based on format but the contents of this book far outweigh a low rating. The author does a wonderful job of explaining the "New Left" and its plot to destroy America. The sad truth is that they are succeeding in destroying America through their concerted efforts. While the author omits the contribution of the right and their destruction of our Rights as Americans, the collective efforts of both sides have turned America from the ideals established by our Founding Fathers. Today, America is one of the most hated countries in the world. This book will offer great insight into the inevitable fall of America as a world power. Quite frankly, this book should be a mandatory read in what remains of America's education system. However, our education system belongs to the "New Left" and that is unlikely to ever happen.… (más)

. I like a well written book and often read about politics in other countries to see how they are ran compared to ours in the US. It has a interesting story, anything from Socialism to Capitalism. If you are into politics then this book is for you. Even if you don't agree with what the book says, you will get an ideal on how they lived.. I received this from LibraryThing Members Giveaway and I recommend it.

I found a major typo on the first page (Unites States instead of United States). Also, the writing had serious tense problems and missing commas. Due to these issues and the layout of the book, which I didn't care for, I just couldn't get into the book.

Everything from Fascism, Socialism, Communism, and Capitalism is given a deeper look through the expansive research and ideas of the author. What exactly is a free market? Or the idea of democracy giving way to totalitarianism? Are our freedoms slowly being eroded under the guise of "security"?

There are many disturbing facts that the reader will acknowledge when delving deeper into this book.

"What a stable and democratic government really needs is the consent of the governed not the fulfillment of all the wishes of the people. Given an opportunity, people will vote for benefits to themselves even if the country cannot possibly afford these."

As the old adage goes, those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. Never has it been so much more valid than our current state of affairs.
