Books like this are exactly why I started reading graphic novels again. I love reading horror books. I like the stories and the twists and the artwork. It just makes me all kinds of happy.

(This includes everything in the Dark Genesis book which is why I included it in the Essential 500 Graphic Novel category.)

This comic gives the first Swamp Thing story from House of Mystery. It then goes on to include the first 13 of original Swamp Thing series that sprang from the ideas brought on by the original story. Swamp Thing faces all kinds of supernatural and sci fi beings while trying to deal with what has happened to him to make him into a monster.… (más)
