Ian Redmond is a leading figure in the wildlife conservation movement, well known internationally for his books, articles, lectures, and television appearances. His fieldwork began in 1976, when he spent two years as Dian Fossey's research assistant, studying and protecting the mountain gorillas in mostrar más the Virunga volcanoes in Africa. Redmond talks everything elephants in this book. Pretty much anything you want to know about elephants is in this book. Redmond discusses the various elephant habitats and the senses and behaviors of elephants. I think this would be a good book to use in a fourth or fifth grade classroom as part of a research project.
