Very formulaic, it could have come from Chatbot or a robot.

I can only give this one 2 stars. I loved Stuart Woods but I do have to say I didn't find this one very interesting. I was bored after the first 2 0r 3 chapters and just couldn't wait to finish. I am gad "Teddy Fey" was able to find out who was behind the fake video involving Peter and Ben but other than that this one showed me nothing. I sure hope the next book is better.

The storyline is ridiculously convoluted, with the daughter of a Chinese telecom family trying to escape to the U.S. by testifying that their products are spying on Americas and her sworn vengeance against a childhood friend/mid-level gangster, who abandoned her, succumbing to pressure from her uberwealthy family. Throw in a billionaire who is an intermediary and a bunch of backdealing, and you've got a hot mess. Run away quickly from this one.… (más)

This is Bryon Quertermous' first novel, and there's apparently a sequel on the way. I can't imagine what's coming next.… (más)
