This collection is just schlocky fun.
I don't usually like short story collections, often I find that the stories are just meh and there is no follow through, and often collections are mostly weak with a few memorable ones sprinkled through. I hadn't heard of this author before, and could hardly find any information about her, but her writing is strong, and some of the stories in this collection are genuinely fascinating and suspenseful. I think it's a shame that she isn't more widely known, or that this collection isn't widely read.

The Magic Coin
Just a Little Thing
While none of these are masterpieces they are fun, accessible horror. The theme of 'Cravings' is clear and makes sense, and each story has a different approach to it.
