A large part of the book is devoted to listing long scripts that IMO should have been made available for download somewhere. No point in re-typing 8 pages of script.

The same goes for pictures of PCBs. Why not make the CAD files available online, or publish the PCBs on one of the many cheap PCB manufacturing sites (dirtypcbs.com, oshpark.com, etc)? Hand etching PCBs is not really worth the effort these days.

While there is some useful information in the book a lot of it is focused on standard, well known pentesting tools. The writing is convoluted in places (why dive into the history of Perl when talking about vulnerability scanners? page 89), and plain wrong in other places (PHP and Python are NOT variants of Perl as stated on, again, page 89).

The actual original content could have been presented in maybe 1/3 of the pages and it would have been a better read.

Having said that, there is some useful information in the book. Especially where it describes performing actual tests using the low powered devices. The description of a script to manage multiple devices is nice. The script itself however should not have been printed but have been made available for download instead.
