I really enjoyed reading this story and its modern-day, Ghanian twist on Goldilocks. The largest difference was in the culture of "the little brown boy with blonde hair", which was explained in the story with the sun turning his hair blonde from how much he liked to play outside. I liked seeing the story set in another country. I have always believed that representation matters, and this story does it justice with vivid illustrations and an imaginative recapturing of the original story.
