An inspiring book by a very interesting Christian! Mr. Pitts has overcome so much to get to where he is today. God placed so many people in his life who were there at exactly the right time. Great reading! Hope he writes another!

Very educated man -- starting from nothing to really becoming SOMETHING. Makes you realize that anyone who sets their mind to something can make it happen. Thank you for giving us hope and letting us know there are every day people that did not get things handed to them --- they had to work for them.

From a boy who couldn't read to a man who wrote a book, Byron Pitts does a good job telling his story. I enjoyed "Step Out on Nothing". Mr. Pitts tells his story of overcoming so much. It is inspiring. I just wish it had more feeling. The moments that will touch your heart are the way too short stories Mr. Pitts talks about those news stories that have touched him.
