There is a story where the graphic novel switches styles several timez and it had me giggling like a doofus. Lots of cool ciphers as well.

If you're a fan of the Gravity Falls cartoon, then you need to read this. It's four stories that all could be episodes--interesting, fun, and funny. I especially liked "Comix Up!" with all the different comic styles.

An enjoyable enough TV show (which I watched last month for the first time) begets an enjoyable enough graphic novel in this media tie-in. Written by the series creator, it crams in a few last adventures in the closing days of Dipper and Mabel's summer stay at the Mystery Shack and provides a flashback to Stan Pines' childhood. The comic book parodies, the visit to Dimension Mab-3l and the grapple hook gag kept this from being just an okay two-star book.
