The issues that this book covers don't really have much to do with strong-willed children; but I suppose it's easier to sell it that way than "You've spoiled your kid rotten - here's what to do about it". I don't think this book offers much insight into childraising beyond a typical parenting book - all the stuff about being consistent and not losing your temper and so forth is in there, but perhaps presented in a way that those who've really lost control of their child might appreciate more. Likewise, my complaint about the book is one that could apply to any childcare book: it tries to cover too many ages in too few pages. There's a short section about toddlers; one about teenagers; one about tweeners, etc. A book specializing in a single development phase might have been more useful, but I suppose a book about strong-willed toddlers might not have been long enough to be worth writing :) Still, that's what I would have liked.… (más)
