- Judith Perrignon joined the French newspaper Libération as a political journalist in 1991. She left in 2007 and worked as a freelance journalist for magazines such as Marianne. She is also a radio producer, and has written and co-written several novels and works of nonfiction. These include: C'était mon frère (He Was My Brother, 2006), about Vincent van Gogh and his brother Theo; La Nuit du Fouquet's (The Night at Fouquet's, 2007), with Ariane Chemin; Lettre à une mère et Les Secrets des mères (Letter to a Mother and The Secrets of Mothers, 2008) with René Frydman; L'Intranquille, autoportrait d'un fils, d'un peintre, d'un fou (The Intranquille: Self-Portrait of a Son, a Painter, a Madman, 2009) with Gérard Garouste; Les chagrins (The Sorrows, 2010); Les Yeux de Lira (The Eyes of Lira, 2011) with Eva Joly; N'oubliez pas que je joue avec Sonia Rykiel (Do Not Forget That I Play with Sonia Rykiel, 2012); Les Faibles et les Forts (The Weak and the Strong, 2013); Victor Hugo vient de mourn (Victor Hugo Has Just Died, 2015); and French Uranium (2017), with Eva Joly. She helped Marceline Loridan-Ivens with the latter's 2015 book about her father's death in the Holocaust, But You Did Not Return.

Drôle, attachant, arrogant, odieux, bête médiatique… les qualificatifs et les superlatifs ne manquent pas.
Hélas, ce livre basé sur des entretiens avec des journalistes, des amis et des personnes qui l’ont connu ne m’a pas emporté. Formaté pour la radio (média pour lequel il semble convenir parfaitement), le portage vers le livre ne m’a pas convaincu. Une ligne directrice, un parti-pris, un point de vue ou que sais-je m’a manqué et je m’y suis égaré. Zut, le boulot semblait là… (más)
