Since we possess a profound love for our Lord and obediently follow His commandments, we've been promised that these changes will work together for our good. We are or should be aware that the Lord's presence will always be with us, at our side, as we continue on our life-changing journey.
One verse that exemplifies this change is found in ECCLESIASTES 3:1 [NKJV] that reminds us:
"To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:"
And that the Lord, according to HEBREWS 13:8 [NKJV], is:
"Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever."
As for the changes regarding ourselves, we've been made assured, according to JEREMIAH 29:11 [NLT], of the following:
"For I know the plans I have for you," says the LORD. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
I believe the best thing for us as Christians need to do now that we know that change is inevitable is to acquire a profounder relationship with God. And one of the ways to accomplish this goal is through us getting into the habit of praying to the Lord. For those who have never prayed to Him you would need a little guidance, which is what Kimberley Payne has done in her brief yet empowering devotional book by sharing her experiences. Praying to the Lord is a life-changing experience, especially for those who have never done it before.
Change is inevitable for prior to my being inspired to publish my first two Christian books after reviewing scores of Christian books, followed by my writing my Christian blog, I had been a secular individual who seldom if ever prayed to the Lord. Now it’s a habit each morning when I rise, and each night when I go to bed. For wanting to assist others in the function of praying, I’ve given Ms. Payne 5 STARS.… (más)
