it was nice i actually had this book for literature classes

I did it in High School, and loved the adventures of Beppo's boy days in Jamaica. To be honest I envied his fun.

The writing is odd in an overly formal styke, reminicent of English High Society...but mixed with Jamaica creole. The legacy of the Colonial masters. Great for young people, or anyone interested in Caribbean literature.
