So this is the second book in this series by Ms. Packard. I have been reading her work for a really long time and this did not at all disappoint. It reminded me of what I love so much about this author. I really loved this book. The first book was good, but the main female character was a bit to cutesy and nice for me. I loved her sister, Kelly, in this book. She was a more layered/flawed character, but it made her so much more fun and interesting and relatable. I really enjoyed her as a person. And while reading the first book, I wasn't at all fond of Matt. But I grew to love him in this book. He seemed to generally be a nice guy who took a tough hit and handled it the wrong way. But he was determined to fight his way back from rock bottom. I admired that about him. He made no excuses for his actions. He and Kelly were the perfect match. I loved the slow but steady way their relationship moved from hate to love. And I absolutely fell in love with Lily. Matt was SO sweet with her. I could feel how much he loved her, maybe even more so than Kelly. I literally did not want this book to end. I got to the last page and tried to scroll for more and was so disappointed that there wasn't anymore. Fortunately, I have the next book ready. I can't wait to get to it!

A good book with likable characters and a solid plot-line. However, the secondary characters ruined it for me a bit. I found her cousin to be beyond annoying and I'm dreading the inevitable book about Melissa's twin and Jake's brother because I just found her to be obnoxious to the extreme.

A Christmas for Carrie by Alison Packard
Carrie hates Christmas. Nick loves it. And Nick thinks he might love Carrie so he sets out on a mission to help her reclaim her Christmas spirit.

Christmas Curveball by Shari Mikels
Rachel is not nosy. Much. So when her brother tells her his close friend and Rachel's high school crush is home she makes it her mission to find out why. Kevin is hiding out in his cabin holding a pity-party and Rachel isn't having that.

Kissing Her Scrooge by Kinley Cade
Hannah tries to be perfect and that perfection includes giving her town the perfect Christmas. She'd really like Griff to be part of it, but he's bah-humbugging all over her plans. This just makes her try harder.

The theme of this book was apparently forcing Christmas on your loved ones. Okay, that's a joke, for the most part, though there are some who go too far at times (Nick, Hannah). But that's okay because these stories had big holiday celebrations with family and found family being happy and that's what I wanted from them.

This was a cute, quick read. A little boring since the conflict never seemed very high, and Sean's little hangup was very easily solved in one conversation, but overall it was ok.
