The hero of this story always seems a little hesitant and lacking in the will to dominance, and it will be no surprise that he loses the initiative in such endeavours, even though he becomes surrounded by submissive females, including Amelia, who actually enjoy punitive submission. He develops a taste for hot-blooded submissive females while visiting overseas plantations, although there he submits to his father's will and fails to take advantage of his situation until his return to England. Amelia, the daughter of a friend, is delivered by fate to him and the fascinatingly submissive Mrs Ticquet, and slowly he takes charge of her erotic education; so slowly, in fact, that her designs on him as a servant eventually supervene. Rather slow for erotic literature, but certainly inventive and enjoyable.… (más)
