This book is a credit to the enthusiasm of the writer and the attention to high quality publishing of Phaidon. It is a pleasure to just flick through the book and enjoy the layout, fonts and pictures. Once you start delving in to the depths of the chairs and their features the book becomes a little more turgid - anyone but design professionals might struggle to really get in to this, beyond it's aesthetic value.
