Not getting as much attention: hundreds of thousands of dead orphans. The attacks are propelling questions: What's in the best interest of children? How important is cultural continuity? Should children have a right to a stable family; even if the family is in a different country? Do children belong to the state?

The authors assume that people reading the book are Christian pro-lifers. It's really more of a manifesto urging a return to two-parent families, and urging Christians to encourage single pregnant women to consider adoption as a beneficial choice for their child.
