Granted the book is in Japanese and I do not read Japanese, there is a lot of visual appeal for someone who is interested in learning more about the construction of certain motifs that also appear in Oya, aka Turkish Lace, the lacy edgings found on the traditional head scarves of Turkish women. There are great, colorful photographs, and "bits" of English text, but the majority is in Japanese. This is a great book for a crocheter who can read charts (which, fortunately, I am one!). WIsh I could read Japanese so I could benefit from the book in entirety. Lovely book.… (más)
