This book does go over the top sometimes in trying to demonstrate that gay men and gay male culture is better than straight culture. However, as one of my gay male friends said once, "The thing about gay men is that they're not involved in the gender war," and that does lead to very different behaviors than are exhibited by the people who are. So, I found much to like about this book.
