Alfred Nawrath

A fairly run-of-the-mill book of rather pedestrian black-and-white photographs of scenery and cultural sites. The caption text at times borders on pretentious space-filling. By the end of the book, I was getting rather Baroque'd-out; though having said that, I have identified a few places I need to visit next time I'm in Austria. There is no indication as to when the photographs were taken; some do appear to be pre-war (but not post-Anschluß).
