Enjoyable, helpful, informative, even funny at times - especially when she talks about how people with different organizational styles can clash with each other. The only thing I did not like was that the whole book was not written for me. Once you determine which styles you are, you are only supposed to read your sections. I mean, you can read other sections if you want to, but her advice is clearly directed elsewhere. I felt like I was only getting 1/4 to 1/2 of a book instead of a whole one.
A great way to get the whole family organized! Nakone helps parents identify their own organization preference and their children's to try to get the whole house functioning harmoniously despite different styles. I've already seen results in my household and am now closely observing my team at work to see how I can apply some of those skills there. Easy to read and understand - I highly recommend it. It also has me curious about her first book Organizing for Brain Type.
The subtitle is "Finding Your Own Solution..." and the emphasis should be on Finding Your Own. This book might be interesting to a person who wants to learn about brain styles, but it is lacking in helping you find solutions to your organizing problems. I gave it two stars because I have been through whole-brain training and sensory training and the information in the book jives with what I have learned. The problem is that I wanted to learn more about organizing; this book offers concepts and suggestions, but is short on solutions.… (más)
