L. Vanloan Naisawald

This book's been around forever, and around my house for at least five years. I finally got around to reading it this summer, and I really enjoyed it.

It's really a book about Union artillery doctrine in the Army of the Potomac, and the administration and organization of that artillery. Naisawald does a great job of telling about how artillery was employed in all of the important actions, but more important, in his view, were the lessons learned from those actions.
