Muse magazine

Muse if full of facts, science, and seriously cool stuff! There was a section where they asked readers to match normal guts to their decaying counter-parts! This magazine is for readers who are just absolutely fascinated with the world and how it works. This magazine is recommended for kids nine and up. I think that nine is a good estimation of a minimum age because the material covered in the magazine can be a bit of a head scratcher. The magazine is also very text heavy. Sometimes I thought it may be a bit too text heavy for kids because it may discourage those who aren't very confident in their new reading skills. The pictures were mainly real photographs, which was great because it made me feel like a real scientist. There was also a funny comic that started the magazine that was referenced to throughout the magazine, this comic really tied the whole magazine together.… (más)
