Okay so this picks up shortly after the first ends. Gotta say this was mostly an unnecessary book. The author added in a bunch of stuff just to make a whole book I think. There was so much conflict going on with the hero and the heroine that we didn't need the random entrance of yet another guy into the mix. Sort of a 4th wheel. Added nothing to the story but unrealistic conflict.

I'm mixed on this book. I was lost so much of the book, especially at the end (how can Willow be at one place and Lilith in another) but at the same time I needed to keep reading because I needed to get answers.

I appreciate the author and her hard work but this book was not my favorite but considering I was compelled to keep reading I finished it which says something.

Better than expected

Previous reviews had me hemming and hawing over reading this. I give this a strong 3 stars. The main part of the book was very good. Hot enemies to lovers with a side of age-gap and a dash of forbidden. The ending felt a bit stilted. A decent epilogue would have elevated this to four stars.

Great book

I really enjoyed reading it. This was my first book from this author but certainly won't be the last. Away to read the next one.
