The book is poorly written, but it is a good book because what he talks about is so interesting. He is very opinionated, being an old-fashioned states-rights Democrat. He claims he ran FDR's 1932 campaign in Nebraska and that he might have been FDR's Attorney-General. I thoroughly enjoyed this book even though philosophically I am considerably to the left of the author. There are no footnotes and no bibliography, since this is memoir-like autobiography.… (más)
