Most of the book is familiar if you follow football. But the biggest highlight is Dion Dublin recalling how he elbowed Mick Harford only for the centerback to plead with the ref to keep Dublin on the pitch and then later broke Paul Williams nose in a mistaken case of a 6'2" black player to retaliate against!

There's not a lot that's new in this book about history's greatest conspiracies if you're a fan on this type of stuff. The book contains many familiar plots, suspicious deaths, and secrets; trotting out the details in just 3 or 4 pages surrounding JFK's assassination, Hitler's suicide, Apollo 11, Osama bin Laden's death, 9/11, Roswell, Elvis, Princess Diana's death, and so on.

The rather shortish book is divided into 4 chapters: The Rich and Famous, Famous Secrets, Cover-ups, and The History Books. For this reader, there were only a few stories that added to my knowledge (or interest) of conspiracy theories. and those included short takes on Alexander the Great's death, the 2004 Asian tsunami, the Bilderberg meetings, and the Epsilon team.

However, at the end of the book is a great collection of books for those who want to delve more deeply into specific conspiracies or just read further about conspiracies, in general.

If you're new to this topic, this is as good a place to start as any.
