Take Me Home by Beth Moran is a captivating novel that explores themes of love, loss, and the power of facing one’s past. The story revolves around Sophie Potter, whose job involves helping people navigate through their darkest moments because she herself knows the depths of despair.

Enter Hattie Langford, a fascinating woman in her fifties, who has also guarded her heart and buried her past.

As Sophie assists Hattie in unraveling the secrets of the women who have lived at Riverbend for generations and the men they have loved and lost, they begin to recognize striking parallels in their own pasts.

Take Me Home is a beautifully written and emotionally charged novel that keeps readers enthralled from beginning to end. Beth Moran skillfully weaves together the stories of Sophie and Hattie, creating a narrative that is both heartwarming and thought-provoking. The characters are well-developed and relatable, and their journeys of self-discovery are deeply moving.

I highly recommend Take Me Home to fans of contemporary fiction and heartfelt stories of self-discovery. Beth Moran has crafted a beautiful narrative that will leave readers reflecting on their own choices and the power of love to overcome obstacles. This book is a true gem and a testament to Moran’s talent as a storyteller.

This is one of my favorite books I've read recently. There's several plots throughout the book, but the main is an enemies to lovers between Bea and Henry. The setting is when Bea has a forced vacation from work as a meteorologist and goes to visit her parents and family for Christmas. While home, there's a jam packed schedule, but then Bea gets a job interview. After a crazy job interview that involves traveling through the snow, ice and no hotels with Henry and an eccentric potential-boss, Bea comes back to realize her parents school is closing, she has adoring fans, she might love Henry, and finds who her grandfather might be. There's also when her ex boyfriend of eleven years shows up at her parents house. Talk about twists and turns! I enjoyed all the stories within the larger plot. Thanks to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the ARC.… (más)
