Some good information, pretty thorough. Disappointed to find out that her website that she references a few times near the end of the book doesn't really work. (Doesn't give you much confidence in her then huh? And doesn't help when you were looking to the site for resources too.)… (más)

Whether one is a frustrated artist looking for inspiration, or simply someone who enjoys art, this book is worthy of a place upon the bookshelf.

The book is a series of double page spreads. One side is a full colour illustration of a collage, the other is detail about its creation and ideas as to how to take the concept to the next level. The text is readily understood by the average person, without descending into patronising triteness.

I shall, of course, be creating works of art that will be a necessary addition to the National Gallery, after reading this: it's just that I need time to contemplate my learnig firstly.… (más)
