The cover art depicts a fish playing an instrument, which makes it appear that the book will be amusing. Unfortunately, after the cover, the book never combines the two different meanings of words in an amusing way, but instead just focuses on presenting the two opposing definitions in a clear and understandable way. But considering the content, I think the book presents the information in a way that makes sense and is informational. However, I do think this book would be better suited to upper elementary students rather than early readers, who would probably find most of the text above their level of read to self. It could also work as a read aloud book for students who are beginning to encounter homographs and are finding the various different meanings of words to be confusing.… (más)
