- Phil Mollon is a Diplomate in Comprehensive Energy Psychology and a Certification Consultant for the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology. Some of the key principles of his work are derived from his training in Thought Field Therapy. Dr Mollon has also trained in many other energy psychology approaches, including EFT, Seemorg Matrix/Advanced Integrative Therapy, Healing from the Body Level Up, and Tapas Acupressure Technique - and he is a certified teacher of TAT. He is also qualified in EMDR and has studied the REMAP eye movement and acupressure procedure developed by Steve Reed.
In background, Dr Mollon is a psychoanalyst, psychotherapist and clinical psychologist. He qualified in clinical psychology at Leeds University in 1976, in psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic in 1985, and in psychoanalysis in 1998 [London Institute & IPA]. His PhD, obtained in 1989, from a joint arrangement between the Tavistock Clinic and Brunel University was a psychoanalytic study of disturbances in the sense of self, including the sense of shame. He has written numerous books on various aspects of psychotherapy, including trauma, shame, dissociation - and more recently on energy psychology approaches.
