I really liked this book. It's a story of a middle-aged pilot, who after the Second World War must decide, whether he wants to stay in a communist country or try to build a new life abroad. At first he's quite inclined to leave, but than he meets a young and pretty doctor Hania and starts to change his mind. I really liked our main hero and his internal fights, four stars.

The second part of a story of a Polish pilot who fights as a bomber crewman in Polish RAF unit.

It is the first part of a two-part story of a Polish fighter pilot who takes part in September 1939 campaign and than through France get to the UK, where he fights in one of the Polish RAF bomber units.
