I would do four or five stars however there was no faith content outside of a character knowing the Bible well because he is a theology professor. And, there were mentions of lovemaking... Kinda a little kissy.

"The London Restoration" is my first book from Rachel McMillan, and I am quite pleased with how it turned out, the historical facts were woven in such a way that you could see the scenes as they happened in the book. I have not read many books that take place right after War World Two with flashbacks to during the war, and I found that I want to read more books in this era... It just pulled me in so deeply.

I at first read this for the cover alone and now I want a copy for the story ... It was so good!

I voluntarily received and reviewed a complimentary e/copy of this book which I received from the author/publisher/review company. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.

Three wonderful love stories written during different time periods. All the stories have the same setting of Leedswick Castle. Each story is unique and all of the characters are wonderful! My favorite story is Elena and Tobias'.
A definite must read!
I received an ARC copy from NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This book had intrigue and hints of romance. It did leave some unanswered questions but overall an interesting book.
Based in Vienna, Lady Sophia is part of a covert team to infiltrate relics. She is commissioned by various men to locate the death mask of Mozart. Her colleague, Simon , heir of Suxxex's oldest estate (also her husband in name only) uses his high breeding to gain access to all of the allied quarters. He truly loves Sophia and he is torn between his heart and loyalty to his cause. They find out that their involvement in the wars is based on a lie and they struggle to find the truth. Along the way, Sophia finally opens her heart to Simon and they take their place in high society again.… (más)
