YOU KNOW YOU ARE A TEACHER is the seventh of a series of books using one-liners to differentiate people in different professions from other people. It has forty examples, such as “You know you are a teacher when you start saving other people’s trash because you can use that toilet paper tube or plastic butter tub for something in the classroom” and “You know you are a teacher when you want to slap the next person who says ‘Must be nice to work 9 to 3 and have summers off...’”
I can recognize and relate to several of the situations in the cartoons. Many were amusing. My main criticism is some of the caricatures are grotesque and insulting.
