I'm going middle of the road for this with 3 stars as I would 5 star some but tbh some I would 2 star.

I do not want to name names so will leave this as a general review. I have read every story in this anthology and I loved the concept, but some stories seemed edited, polished and finished and some didn't. They felt rushed, unedited and incomplete.

The concept and idea of Taking a Chance on love, drew me in and given the opportunity to arc read and overall I did enjoy the book.

These 17 authors all came together to raise funds for AIDS healthcare, so grab this as you might find a gem or a new author to read.… (más)

This anthology was amazing. If I didn’t know that the authors had written outside their normal genres from the blurb, I never would’ve guessed. Each story is unique with captivating characters and rich worlds. The plots were engaging and well paced. I loved that each story had a little intro, which gave you an idea of what to expect in the following pages, making it easy to pick and choose what to read. There’s a little something for everyone in this, so don’t let the chance to grab this anthology pass you by!… (más)

This is the first book in a new series, and it's a serious doozy. I love reading Claire Marta's books, and this one is no different. It was a book that I heartily enjoyed and I'm desperately waiting for the next one.

Bane is a werewolf who has been through some significant trauma. His Alpha has tried everything he could to help him, so his next idea is to send Bane to a BDSM club where he can maybe get the help he needs to heal. Mistress Mystic assigns him to Adam, a vampire Dom, for the next month for training.

I like Bane, although he is a kink-shaming jerk in the beginning. However, I don't think the fault is necessarily his, because he is a total noob and he really had no choice in coming, so it's hard for him to deal with and to understand.

Adam has his own issues too, and I think that he hides a lot of them so that he can't get hurt. However, he is also a very patient, caring, and loving man. It's obvious in the way that he treats Bane that he really wants to help him, even when Bane is being all hateful. It's also obvious that he's not going to let Bane get away with anything and that he sees more into Bane than Bane realizes.

The story is intense and kinky. The emotions are just so rich and the story is so excellent.… (más)

This is an intense story, not just with the romance part, but also with the suspenseful actiony stuff. It keeps you guessing and on edge. Just when I thought that I had part of it figured out, all of a sudden, the authors flipped things right around on me and I didn't have a clue as to what was happening anymore.

Morgan is working on her thesis, and it's about sexual surrogacy. Because of that, she ends up working with Zac and Aiden so that she can help them learn how to date, mate, and procreate. But it's not always as easy as it seems.

Zac and Aiden seem to have this kind of innocence and purity about them that never really leaves, even though I'm pretty sure that they aren't all that pure or innocent, especially by the end of the book. They also have a really strong moral center that guides them in everything that they do.

Morgan is smart, but I also think that she's kind of naive, maybe. She has a tremendously good heart though, she just wants to help everyone who has been hurt, no matter who they are and what hurt them. I think it's pretty awesome.… (más)
