Charles C. Mann is a correspondent for The Atlantic Monthly, Science, and Wired. He has also written for Fortune, The New York Times, Smithsonian, Technology Review, Vanity Fair, The Washington Post, the television network HBO, and the television series Law and Order. 1491: New Revelations of the Americas Before Columbus por Charles C. Mann

Interesante, a veces reiterativo como para tratar de avasallar con la tesis, que no por machacona ganará. La teoría de que américa estaba por completo colonizada por los nativos y que estos habían modificado el medio ambiente es como para pensar y salir del punto de vista europeocentristra. Ahora bien por un lado trata de defender a los nativos y por el otro no los deja bien parados. Si le hubiera sacado lo de las peleas entre los arqueologos, que es más la pequeña historia de la pequeña historia y no hace al desarrollo del tema central,
