The peace churches and the American Revolution.
This is a book that chronicles the history of the Mennonite and Brethren in Christ Churches of New York City. It covers from 1949 when the first Mennonite Church was started in NYC to the 1990’s when there were about 20 congregations scattered over the 5 NYC boroughs. MacMaster honestly records the ups and downs of these churches as they sought to grow and serve God in the city environment.
