Okay, I read some really nasty reviews here attacking the author and I want to ask all people who wrote them:

If the story was set in an AU with the main characters being different alien races (or elves, or dwarves or whatever species you prefer or even if the slave was the white boy and the master was the black), would you have reacted the same way?

Pretty good story by a first-time author! It held my interest throughout. I'll be looking forward to more from Ms. MacLagan!

A well-written story depicting the time between initial HIV testing after possible exposure and the follow-up test 3 months later for two young men. The characters were both interesting and simpatico. And even though I knew the "twist" right away (what can I say - I'm a cynical old broad), the storytelling kept me reading to see how it all played out. Well done!

3.5 stars. I liked the overall story line. Wish there was more development in their relationship. Went from A to Z with little incite. Would like to see this turned into a full novel.
