Having the privilege of intimately knowing one of the depicted houses, this book has a particular value for me. Ian Macdonald-Smith did a great job of showing Scott's work in the best light. The interior pictures have been done with particular care.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book of Baillie Scott houses and gardens! I'd never heard of him, and this collection of photographs was a beautiful introduction to his architectural style! I'd love to see one of his houses in person.
