Baron Frankenstein (Joseph Cotton) creates and is in turn killed by the creature (Peter Whiteman) he has created. His beautiful, scientist daughter Tania (Rosalba Neri) is, however, on hand to carry on his work; so while the creature roams the countryside Tania tries to transplant the brain of her weedy lab assistant fiancé Marshall (Paul Muller) into the body of hunky simpleton Stephen. "La Figlia di Frankenstein" brings plenty of Italian sleaze to the Frankenstein story to complement its sub-Hammer stylings. Director Mel Wells brings plenty of vibrant colours, nice set design and plenty of classic Gothic touches. These positive aspects are off-set by sledgehammer editing, erratic pacing and some poor creature effects. Luckily the great Rosalba Neri is on hand delivering a ravishing performance as the sex-obsessed scientist. She has a great, seductive screen presence and nude or clothed she is a pleasure to watch - easily the sexiest Frankenstein ever!… (más)
