Greatly impressed by this book, enjoyed it although the plot was just a confused and twisted as real life in Angola and Portugal during the period must have been. This starts as a narrative of the downfall of the military regime in Portugal, the independence and civil wars erupting in their former colonies in Africa, and finally ends as a murder mystery involving 'conflict diamonds,' Swiss banking and millions in questionable gains. All told a gripping story
