Alba de Gradi has been alive for about 200 years. For the past 25 years, she has been the famous Joanna Kilkenny. Alba is ready to move on and get out of the limelight. Under the Sun and Sky is a very fun, paranormal, erotic, romp in Italy. Alba's character is very confident and bold. I enjoyed seeing her transform from Joanna back to her true self in Italy. I would have loved to know more of Alba's origin story and life before becoming Joanna. The guys are both complementary to Joanna in different ways, Lorne is very easy going and up for anything while Jamie slowly finds his footing in the relationship and finds exactly what he and Alba need. I was very surprised at Jamie's willingness to tag along on Alba's adventure as well as his acceptance of her needs. The spicy scenes were absolutely sizzling, especially in the private villa under the Italian sun. I do wish I could have explored more of the trio's antics in Italy with them.½

This was sexy, intriguing, and unique. I've read vampire romances before, but nothing like this - I was blown away by the direction this took. Lister did an excellent job of building tension and heating things up. Alba is a great character, and I really enjoyed the contrast between Lorne and Jamie. They're so different, but so right for Alba in their own ways. I won't give anything away, but if you're looking for a paranormal romance that flirts with the darker side, you've found your next read!

I enjoyed it even though it was short.

Can someone tell me why the owner of the hottest BDSM/Leather club in town lives in a cheap apartment complex and drives an old Toyota? I fully expected him to be a predator stalking his prey. But - no.

What's so special about whatshisname student nurse? I mean, I don't even remember his name meager 10 hours after I've finished the book and I don't really care enough to look it up. That's special in its own weird way for sure. Is that Daddy's twisted kink?

The sub is topping shamelessly and the bad leather daddy does nothing. Yep.

As one of the group who worked on editing and proofing these stories and helped put the anthologies together I might be considered biased, but these anthologies are definitely worthy of the 5 star rating.

I'm not completely sure how to rate this one. I enjoyed it, I really did. But at the same time it made me uncomfortable as well. I think it just about hit my limits to be honest. I love BDSM. Had you asked me a few years ago what I thought of it, I would have looked at you strangely and asked "what kind of woman do you think I am?" Well, obviously there was a massive kinky streak buried deep down that just needed the right kind of stimulation to be set free.

I love the interplay of dominance/submission. Reading about the pleasure they derive from the pain/bondage/restraints. The denial of pleasure, movement and even speech. What I have discovered is that what I don't like is humiliation. And there were two instances in this book that hit outside my comfort zone. That is why I'm struggling to rate this.

Aside from those scenes, this was a damn hot and sexy book. The building relationship between the MC's is interesting and not forced at all. And the contrast between them made for some very interesting times. It's just a pity that, the humiliation aspect threw me out of the joy I was feeling up to that point. And it never fully returned to the 5 star read it had been for the rest of the story.

So good! But now I want more of Sam & Marco's story, and I definitely want to see that look of sadness disappear from Darrin's eyes.

I really enjoyed my first read of this author. Thought the story was well paced and had lots going on. I look forward to reading book 2.

This was a really cool story about three young guys who decide to get together at a deserted beach house. I liked the way Marco was slowly pulled into what Sam and Darrin already had going. The sadness of Darrin leaving at the end of the summer was poignant, and Sam's sweet longing for Marco was clear. As with many three-way relatinships that are merely physical, the implications of what the future will bring hung heavily over this one. I definitely want to see more of these characters! It feels as if there are quite a few unresolved questions between them. The focus on the now, and the hot sex, was what I liked and what made me hope for more in the future.

Short and somewhat kinky, but not rough in any way, this is the story of super-shy virgin Henry and his mysterious neighbor Ryan. Henry is attracted to him anyway, but the man is full of surprises, and once Henry finds out he owns a leather club, he just knows he has to submit to him.

Henry's "adventures" are told in a lighthearted, slightly humorous way and it's very clear that he wants everything Ryan is willing to dish out. Ryan is not at all the gruff, tough leatherman Henry would have expected, and he loves that. They get up to a variety of kinky things together, and Henry loves it all.

If you like sweet BDSM stories with a touch of humor, if you enjoy reading about a virgin being introduced to everything two men can do together, and if you're looking for a read that is hot and entertaining, then you will probably like this free short story.

Enjoyable buildup.

Loved this one! I'll have to check out more of this author's work.
