A must for anyone researching old houses this book is well-organized and 'comfortable' to read (meaning you don't have to already know the 'lingo' in order to understand it). Simple and graceful line illustrations are helpful in Section I. Great chapter on how to decipher old handwriting. Out-of-print as of May 2008 but used copies are out there. Recommended for those doing genealogy as well.
