What I remember.
It was super hot and steamy with a great erotic sex scene from virtually page one.
While I remember finding the story in all interesting and wanting to love it, I could only like it.
I remember the characters 'Actions' were a bit.... 'cookie-cutter'.
It was one of those stories that could have been Really Good but failed on various levels to achieve that. I think my biggest problem was the 'Stalling' to continue the story. That's my best definition. He Stalled, She Stalled. And what should have been one book became 3.
Now, I do remember wanting to read more by this author and in this series. And I think I have more of her books, but none in this series.
This is what happens when authors have a great story then try to spread it out into many books that should have been one. You lose readers. Followers. I really think if this had been a duet or a single book I would have continued to make the effort to collect all her books and eat them up.
But, like almost all us avid readers, we really get over the continued continued continued and nothing much happening in each book. One little twist or so and that's it.

With all that said, this author definitely has talent. And I did enjoy it. I wanted to give it higher stars, but I can't. But I will be reading more of her books sometime in the future.

There were things I liked and things I didn't.
Didn't like she was engaged to someone else.
I did like her and I liked 'That Man'.
Very slow burn for a shortish book. About 170 pages.
I hated that it was a cliffhanger.
I also didn't like how slow it moved.

WOW! This was one HOT book! I haven't read the earlier books with these characters but it didn't make any difference to the story. You learned some of their history in this book so you really felt like you had known them all along. It was a very sweet romance with lots of hot, steamy sex and some danger and intrigue. A fairly quick read but very good! Will definitely be looking to read more from this author.

Right from the start, I was laughing and loving this book. How can you NOT love a book about donuts and a sexy hot man? This is a short, sweet and sexy read that will definitely lift your spirits.

Nelle L’Amour is a new to me author that I will most certainly be exploring more of now. Her sense of humor is right on track with mine and she had me laughing probably when I shouldn’t have been, but seriously, bringing back the little mom and pop donut shop with an Ad Campaign of Oh! Oh! Oh! Is just amazing.

Well, for a couple not getting together till almost the end of this one, sure are lot of sexy scenes

The wedding was funny, not the reason at the end, but everything else.

I have never wanted to kidnap a fictional character more in my life!!!!
My old favorites from That Man had magnificent cameos and for once, I DON'T want a happy ending of sorts for the bad girl.
I kinda want her to rot.
The only side-effect of having read this book, my family might now think I'm completely insane or all the times I've yelled "GET JEN!" or "I TOLD YOU!" at my phone.

Nelle L'Amour is brilliant once again! I could not help but devour this book.
It wasn't just a story. It was a completely immersive experience.
I laughed, I cried, I was sick to my stomach.
I didn't have sex but that could hardly be viewed as a fault on her part.
I'm kind of sad that it's over.

Nelle L'Amour has an excellent sense of timing, and this book... MAGNIFIQUE!!!
She totally kept me guessing throughout the whole book!!!
Even though it turned out I was absolutely right in my assumption (YAY), she still managed to almost throw me off the scent.
I have a strong feeling that the next book is only going to get BETTER.

Nelle L'Amour is totally one of the authors I would kidnap and force to regale me with literature... if that was legal!!!

Oh wow what a wonderful end to a wonderful story. I went through a myriad of emotions with this little novella. I laughed, I cried, I was scared and relieved. What an emotional ride that was. But two beautiful babies, a gorgeous, romantic husband, a successful career and friends that would never let you down. A perfect life is exactly what Gloria deserves after all she's been through. Yay Nelle! Just loved it and it was worth the wait.

Everybody she meets hooks up, what are the odd of that?

I honestly can't think how she'll ever be able to follow that story
Also...
THRILLED at the excerpt in Jaime's POV (although it looked like he was answering a question that was never asked because the first sequence about the Fifty Shades of Gray books was missing)
just.... YAY

I must admit
I went into this story already in love with Jaime and Gloria
I did have one complaint.
While I adore Gloria, I sort of hoped to see a bit of Jaime's POV on the series of events.
Didn't get that...
However Nelle more than made up for it with the steamy scenes between them
Of course, I have at this time I have realized that Nelle is an expert at delivering characters I love to hate as well as characters I can not help but adore.

I was ready to curl up and expire after the last word was said in That Man
The thought of a world without Blake... and this magnificent woman had the foresight to finish the box set with an extended preview of Unforgettable
Old friends from That Man making appearances lifted my heart especially Chaz and.... wait for it.... Blake HIMSELF
Also, I must admit, I have already fallen for Brandon and Zoey though there are some snafus as far as I'm concerned.

I have been a fan of this series from the first book (That Man 1, That Man 2, That Man 3), and this installment in the series is just as well-written as the first three. There are a few laugh out loud moments, but for the most part, this book is more emotional. Not in a bad way, but it's easy to feel the apprehension and anxiety that Jennifer is experiencing, both with the success of the television show for the network, in addition to the wedding planning, that apparently she has no say in. It doesn't help when there are not one, but two ex-significant others who are trying to stage a comeback.

But for me, the biggest surprise in this book is how much Blake has matured since the beginning of the series. I'm not going to spoil anything, but I found it refreshing how he handled a couple of different situations. And hooray for Chaz for not bowing down to the wedding planner about the dress.

Now this book does end on a cliffhanger, and I cannot wait to see how this will all play out.

Most books I have read are in the female pov and some will go back and forth between the female & male pov. Now this book goes against that grain it is from the male pov. I know there are some books out there that are all male pov but the first book was in the female pov so this book is really nothing like I have read. I am use to loving the female and having the hots for the male this book really had me all mixed up and I thought at the beginning I was not liking the book but the more I read the more I enjoyed the shake up in my mind. Ryan is the rich "Golden Boy" who falls in love with Allee who is the girl from the wrong side of the tracks who is caught up in something that tears them apart. Lots and lots of hot juicy steamy sex. The ending *sigh* there are no words that is all I can say.
