I'm not sure if I can call this a proper mystery, since the reader knows exactly who did what right from the start. It's just a matter of wondering if the main characters will figure it out, yet knowing they will. No romance, lots of good French cooking, and an affable, but nosy French restauranteur make an easy, quick read that won't ruffle your feathers, if you can stand a mystery without mystery and shallow, stereotypical characters.
